Emboss resist

Here is a technique that I love to do. Its called Emboss resist. I did this card awhile ago but thought I would share it since I havent posted it on here before and some of you are new.
First I stamped the flower image in Chocolate chip, because you can't stamp that after you emboss, Let it dry now that our stamps are moist and dont dry as quick. Also, you want to stamp the Words up top in case you go too high with the doily stamp so that  you can still get the words in, You should try to keep the doily just below the words.
I used the Hello Doily stamp, Inked it in versamark and stamped it to the card, not showing the whole image but most of it. Sprinkled the Clear embossing powder over it and heated it. Then sponged it with pool party and daffodil deligh. I made sure and Kept it low enough so that the words didnt get covered but almost went up to the words.
Then when you are sponging, start with the yellow first then the blue and randomly sponge in circular motion all around the card. The brads used here are now retired but are on the clearance list. I used chocolate chip, whisper white and pool party card stock.
Thats all for now, Thanks for stopping by. I am in the process of stamping some stuff with the new mini but I havent completed anything yet.
Until Next time, dont forget to check out what is on the clearance rack at www.bettybutton.stampinup.net

Thanks
Betty
