Excitement is in the air

Look What I got in the Mail on Saturday. I didnt want to post everything all on the same day so I held on to these. I am very excited and can't wait now. These are my tickets and letter from Stampin Up for My Hawaii Incentive Trip. My niece is going with Slim & I and she is counting the days but she got so excited she miscalculated by 10 days and got me thinking it was closer. She said we had 39 days and we actually had 49 days but actually now its 45 That was 4 days ago.

I am also adding a picture of My daughter(Kayla)and I from my last Trip to Hawaii in 2007, That trip We paid for, It was Kayla's High School Graduation Gift along with $200 in spending money, she got spoiled. She was a little stinker for most of the trip but I love this picture of her and I. All In all it was a fun trip and I'm really excited to go back. Especially for free. Ok so I also added a photo of Slim, Kayla and I lounging after an awesome dinner and I can't for the life of me remember the name of the restaurant but It was awesome. Kayla is holding a Virgin Strawberrry Daquiri, She was loving that but can't wait until it doesnt have to be Virgin. LOL.
Thanks for looking.

Gift for a Friend

Here is a gift bag, I made this and one other for a couple friends of mine. Gwen and Terri. Gwen already has hers and I think she liked the bag and so did others when she opened it. Terri is getting hers tomorrow and I'm not really posting this until after she gets it in case she comes on my blog tonight. LOL. Can't have her seeing her gift before she gets it. I used the rub ons on a bag that I bought from Avon. I dont know if they sell them anymore but I'm sure you can find them somewhere. Anyway, I hope you like it, I hope she likes it and now I'm tired and going to bed. LOL.

Thanks for looking.

projects I've been working on

Hello again, and here is a couple gorgeous cards I have been working on and I just couldnt decide which way I liked it best. So, I'm posting them both and you can leave a comment and let me know which one you like best.

The products I used are the Big Shot and Beautiful Butterflies(Stampin Up exclusive die), Priceless stamp set and Upsy Daisy Stamp set, White craft ink and Irridescent Ice, Pink pirouette and Riding Hood Red papers and ribbons. Key tag punch, Basic Brown ink and Gold Brads. I think thats everything. The original card that inspired me was similar and I dont remember who I saw it from, SORRY. All I know is the initials are K V. I did change quite a bit so its really not much like hers but similar.
On the Riding Hood Red One I burned the Irridescent ice because for some reason it wasn't melting as good. I dont know why but its still very pretty.
Let me know which color arrangement you like better. Thanks for looking.
See I told you I was coming with more soon. LOL

Grandkids photo

Hello again and now I have another photo of my grandbabies to show you. This was taken on New Years Eve. They are always so happy to be with Grammy and Grampy Slim. Its fun to have them too. But Oh was I tired when it came time to take the little one home.
So, my grandson in case you haven't seen my earlier photos is Scotty Jr. and My granddaughter is Kylie Jean. Her and I have the same middle name. They are just so cute in these photos that I had to share.

Designer Series Paper Club

I have had some requests to do a 6x6 designer series paper club. For those of you that have not been blogging, its a purchase of 1 6x6 piece of each of the 20 designer series paper collection(All but the Patterns Prints). This is so that you can sample all of the choices and use them on your cards and pages as you wish. In figuring the cost for this I would have to charge 32.00 per person if you are local(For Hand Delivery) and 35.00 if I have to mail it to you.

Heres what you need to do to get this going. I need to have 8 people sign up and as soon as I have 8, I will send you a paypal pay payment request, you will have to pay in advance(Or you can pay in cash or check if you are local) I will then order the paper, cut them and get them out to you as soon as they come in and I have them cut.

Email me if you are interested and I'll keep you posted when I reach the 8.
For every group of 8 orders, I will also do a drawing amongst those 8 for one person to receive the level 1 stamp set.

Working on some projects

Hello everyone. I have been busy these past few weeks so I haven't had much time for stamping but my Brand new stuff just came and I am now thinking of the possibilities. I tried the circle cutter and I love it but I have to learn how to keep the paper still. It says with removable adhesive but I dont have any of that right now. UGH. That means I have to wait longer to use it. So, be patient with me and I will get to it. I am working on cutting for my love you much portfolio class so thats taking all my time right now. I will be working on cards as soon as I get that project cut and of course I have to make one for myself.
Keep on checking because I'm getting close to another blog candy and I wouldnt want you to miss that.
Thanks

Happy New Year and grandkids story

Hello everyone, Happy New Year!
WOW, have I been busy. The holidays came so quick and went just as quick. PHEW. Its over now and we can go back to normal everyday stuff, LIKE STAMPING. YEAH. I have been busy searching for new ideas and have found a couple. I am going to do a couple classes, As soon as I get the dates I'll post them here for you. I have to check the hall to see available dates.
In the midst of all the searching for new stuff, I had my grandkids overnight on New years eve and was that fun. Scotty is now a big boy and is almost 4 and Kylie is Sisser(thats how he refers to her) and she is close to 9 months now. She is growing so fast. Anyway, Then I kept Scotty for the weekend and we did lots together. We had our movie dates(again thats what he calls them) So, on Thursday, we saw Madagascar Escape 2 Africa, that was so funny, Though I dont know what was funnier, the movie or him. He laughed so much. That night we watched some movies here at home and he was so fidgety that I said, My do you have ants in your pants Mister. He pulled out his pj pants and looked inside and then looked at me and said, NO GRAMMY, There's no ants in my pants. I had all I could do not to laugh. Then on Friday we went to play miniature golf and ate pizza. Again he was so much fun. He was such a sport. He played at the play place they have there too and got to the top of the tunnel slide and got scared and started screaming out GRAMMY HELP ME!!!!!!! I panicked, I was too big to go up there. LOL. So, this little boy offered him a hand and he slid down. He looked up with tear filled eyes and said, that wasn't so bad. LOL. Then he said, I'm ready for Pizza now Grammy so then we went to have pizza. He fell right to sleep in the car on the way back to my house and slept for 2 hours PHEW. I was tired too. So then on Saturday we went to see our last movie, BOLT. Oh did he laugh through this one, more so then the other one. By the way he was mimicking the actions you'd think he'd already seen it. When we left the movie he yelled out, GRAMMY I WANT THAT MOVIE FOR CHRISTMAS. Passers by were smiling and one said, I'm sure it will be out by then.
Anyway, thanks for listening I had to share all this excitement with someone.
I will be posting some of my pictures of projects soon. I have been busy since he left and have 2 projects almost complete, just need candy to fill them.
Oh and tomorrow the retiring accessories list will be out and I will post it or email it. Thanks for looking and Enjoy the YEAR 2009

Country living Holiday collection

Hello again, Its been a crazy week for me, I managed to finally tackle some of my christmas shopping at Target in New York. My friend/Downline, Gwen and I went on Saturday and OH was I tired by the time the night ended.
Anyway, to the point....I am going to offer the Country Living kit collection at a discount to bump up my totals for the challenge that Stampin Up is offering. I am going to offer it to you at the 20% off with any order. See the details for the kit earlier on in my blog. I believe it was posted on Nov. 16th. If you are interested in this offer, please email me directly to take advantage. That is a $10.00 savings, so, instead of $49.95 it will be 39.95 plus shipping and tax. (However, I wouldnt wait too long if you want it back in time to make the ornaments for christmas) I have already sold 10 of these and would like to be the highest seller, which I have no idea how many the other vermont folk have sold so I may not even be close but I also could be close. I'd hate to lose by 1 so if you have any interest in the kit please email me. Thanks
Have a great evening.

I won a tutorial from a fellow stamper

Hello everyone, Guess what? Today I won a tutorial. Usually I buy them from Andrea and today I won one by posting on her blog. I will share her post with you to see.......Here it is.......

Okay, and now onto today’s winner. Drumroll please……the winner of today’s blog give-away is….Betty Button ! Congratulations Betty! Betty will receive the PDF tutorial for this Snowman Window Box. You can use it as shown with a couple of test tubes holding goodies inside (I bought the Martha Stewart test tubes) OR, you could omit the test tube holder portion, cover the windows with acetate and fill them the box with treats. The tutorial includes supplies, dimensions and step-by-step photos with directions. I will be giving away a copy of this PDF tutorial each day for the rest of the month, so if your name hasn’t been drawn yet, don’t give up! Each day you leave a comment, you have a chance to win.
Thanks to Andrea. I will be able to make this project with ease. Her tutorials are what I have been using to do my classes with. THanks to all those that have been coming.

Here is a squashbook and there may be a video added later on to show you how to fold. I have done these at some of my previous workshops but this group hadn't done this so they wanted to do it they took photos and a video. If I can get kym on to post it then I will put the video on it. I'm a little camera shy though so theres not alot to it. What you need to start this project is 3 6x6 pcs of cardstock (2 of 1 color and 1 of another color), 2 pcs of designer paper cut to 4x4 and 2 pcs of cardboard cut at 3 x 3. Fold the 6x6's in half and open turn, fold again in half then you should have 4 3x3 squares on each sheet. Then you open it and fold in half once diagonally so the points meet. That fold will give you the 2 folds that are triangle photos above. You might be able to tell by the picture how to glue them together but if not, maybe I'll make a new video or photos from start to finish. This will make a great christmas gift and is very inexpensive to make. Hope you enjoyed this project.
Thanks for looking.
