Look what I just got in the mail on Saturday. My convention badge. WOOHOO. I am soooo excited. Its a little over a week away. Memento mall goes live today online so I can order everything and have it delivered here before I leave. Awesome. Can't wait.
Now I have a card to share that Laurie Sent in to me. Somehow I missed her other one. This card uses crystal effects and you cant really see the effect of it but it sounds awesome. She says it looks and feels like a canvas painting. I can't remember how she said to spread it but maybe she will post it under comments.
You can't see the technique in this picture, but it looks and feels like a canvas painting. I also used the distress tool on the edges.
Early Espresso paperPear pizzaz and Poppy Parade markers
Certainly Celery ribbon
Scallop oval and oval punches
Petite Pairs and pleasant poppies stamp sets
Early espresso ink
Mastering Monday Challenge
Ok so lets do this, Lets use a framelit or some special cut and then use banner strips, the ones you flag the ends with. A greeting and a punched piece, and emboss the framelit piece. Kind of like we did at the customer appreciation event. Here is the one we did there. Dont copy this one but make it similar and make it your own.
Thanks for stopping by

I accept this challenge and shall conquer it with mastery. Betsy R
For this card I used Crystal Effects and a toothbrush as my tool. First you need to stamp your image onto your card stock,I used Pleasant Poppies. You then drizzle crystal effects onto paper and use your toothbrush to spread in an up and down direction. Wait for this to dry for a few minutes then again drizzle more crystal effect onto paper and again use your toothbrush to spread it, but this time spread in a side to side direction. The end result will be a texture much like a canvas painting. Very fun technique
